Registration Forms

The SAU 41 School District uses PowerSchool an online student registration/data validation system to enroll new students. PowerSchool is a secure and green process, which allows you to complete all registration documents online. The system will also also allow you to electronically sign annual permission forms for school district policies.

If you are a new student complete the Pre-Registration form.
You will also need to fill out a Developmental History Form.

Once you have completed the two documents above, please contact the office at 324-5995 to schedule a Registration Appointment where we will make a copies of the following:

Student Handbook

The Student Handbook contains a wealth of information about our school district's philosophy for teaching and learning and it outlines the policies that effect our students. Please find a copy of it here. Please familiarize yourself and your youngster with the information information the handbook contains, paying special attention to our acceptable use (computer) policy. Please return a signed copy of the signature page on or before September 9th.

Carpool and Dismissal Notes

Please send a written, signed note in with your child indicating the dismissal instructions for the day, if your child is not going on the bus. We know sometimes there are last minute changes or emergencies and you will need to call. We do need the signed notes for security and safety reasons. There is also too much room for human error when trying to get messages to teachers and students. We of course will assist in any manner for sudden changes or emergencies.

Please call the office, if there is an unexpected change by 2 PM. This makes dismissal run much more smoothly as we have time to notify teachers and students.

What time is school?
Carpool drop off for students in K-3 starts at 8:10am and finishes at 8:20am.

Busses begin unloading at 8:15am.

Students are considered tardy at 8:23am.

Our morning PreK program runs from 8:30am-11:00am.  The afternoon PreK program runs 12:00-2:30pm.

The end of day carpool dismissal begins at 2:57pm.  Bus dismissal begins at 3:05pm.

*Please use caution during carpool and try not to block Silver Lake Road.

Supply Lists

All classroom teachers have shared welcome letters and supply lists for the families of their students. The supply lists are posted here.

PowerSchool/Power Announcement
Power Announcement is a program that allows schools in SAU41 to send out email messages, text messages, and phone calls to all families enrolled in one of the six schools in the SAU. Power Announcement will replace Alert Now as our emergency school notification system.

Emergency school closings (such as snow days, delayed openings and emergency early closures) are announced via Power Announcement from the Superintendent's office, while each school in the district will use Power Announcement for messages and bulletins that are specific to their population.

The contact information for Power Announcement will be pulled directly from PowerSchool our student information system. If you would like to make changes to any of your contact information please do so by contact our school office at 324-5995.

Hollis School Board

The Hollis School Board holds in trust for the community, as its elected agent, the responsibility of overseeing and ensuring a high-quality education for all students while continuously evaluating outcomes and ensuring a high return on the investment provided by the community. In partnership with the Superintendent, the Board sets the educational direction of the district, empowering and enabling administration and staff for excellence.

We strive to build a high functioning, goals based School Board which listens better than it speaks, builds consensus rather than dictates and leads the district grounding all decisions based in sound policy governance with a singular purpose – education. The Hollis School Board aligns with the SAU 41 strategic plan and establishes student achievement as its top priority.

Major current Board initiatives and Annual Goals are listed in our work-in-progress section of our meeting agendas.
The Hollis School Board holds its meetings in public on the first Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the Hollis Upper Elementary School cafeteria. Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend. Alternatively, our meetings are available as a video stream on the web. For more information about our school board visit their site:
